Dana, Dharma, and the Four Āśramas
तस्मिन् वाय्वम्बुसंघर्षे दीप्ततेजा महाबल: । प्रादुरभूदूर्धशिख: कृत्वा निस्तिमिरं नभ:
tasmin vāyv-ambu-saṅgharṣe dīpta-tejā mahā-balaḥ | prādurabhūd ūrdhva-śikhaḥ kṛtvā nistimiraṃ nabhaḥ ||
வாயுவும் நீரும் மோதிய அந்தப் போராட்டத்தில், ஒளிவீசும் தேஜஸும் மாபெரும் வலிமையும் கொண்ட அக்னிதேவன் தோன்றினான்; அவன் அக்கினிச் சுடர்கள் மேலே எழுந்தன. அவன் ஆகாயத்தை இருளற்றதாக்கினான்.
