कृच्छात् समुद्धरन् भार न्यग्रोधं समुपागमत् । न्यषीदच्च परिश्रान्तः क्लान्तश्न क्षुधितश्न॒ सः
kṛcchāt samuddharan bhāraṃ nyagrodhaṃ samupāgamat | nyaṣīdac ca pariśrāntaḥ klāntaś ca kṣudhitaś ca saḥ ||
மிகுந்த சிரமத்துடன் சுமையைத் தூக்கிக்கொண்டு அவன் ஆலமரத்தை அடைந்தான். அங்கே அடைந்தவுடன் அமர்ந்தான்—மிகவும் களைப்புற்று, சோர்ந்து, பசியால் வாடி.
