निर्वेदोपदेशः (Nirveda-Upadeśa) — Maṅki’s Dispassion and the Limits of Wealth-Seeking
प्रादुर्भूतो5स्मि ते मित्र सुहृत्त्वंच मम त्वयि । सो<हं तथा यतिष्यामि भविष्यसि यथार्थवान्
prādurbhūto ’smi te mitra suhṛttvaṃ ca mama tvayi | so ’haṃ tathā yatiṣyāmi bhaviṣyasi yathārthavān ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்— நண்பனே, உனக்காக நான் வெளிப்படையாக முன்வந்தேன்; உன்னிடத்தில் என் நல்வாழ்த்தும் நட்பும் மேலும் வளர்ந்தது. ஆகவே நீ உண்மையிலேயே ‘அர்த்தம்’ (விரும்பிய பயன்) அடைந்தவனாக ஆகுமாறு நான் முயல்வேன்.
