/ ऑपन-माज बछ। -ज:डि द्विषष्ट्याधिकशततमो< ध्याय: सत्यके लक्षण
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | satyaṃ dharmaṃ praśaṃsanti viprarṣipitṛdevatāḥ | satyam icchāmy ahaṃ śrotuṃ tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||
யுதிஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—பிதாமஹா! பிராமணர்கள், ரிஷி முனிவர்கள், பித்ருக்கள், தேவர்கள் அனைவரும் சத்தியவாக்கை தர்மமாகப் போற்றுகின்றனர். ஆகவே ‘சத்தியம்’ உண்மையில் என்ன என்பதை நான் கேட்க விரும்புகிறேன்—எனக்குச் சொல்லுங்கள்.
