संरक्षति त्वां पवन: सखित्वेन न संशय: । तस्मात् त्व बहुशाखो5पि पर्णवान् पुष्पवानपि
saṃrakṣati tvāṃ pavanaḥ sakhitvena na saṃśayaḥ | tasmāt tvaṃ bahuśākho 'pi parṇavān puṣpavān api |
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—வாயுதேவன் உன்னை நண்பனெனக் கருதி காக்கிறான் என்பதில் ஐயமில்லை. ஆகவே நீ பல கிளைகளால் செழித்து, இலைகளும் மலர்களும் சூடி வளமுடன் விளங்குகிறாய்.
