Tapas as the Root of Attainment (तपः—साधनमूलप्रशंसा)
कृपा : कर ् न फ सदैव शकुनास्तात मृगाश्चाथ तथा गजा: । वसन्ति तव संहृष्टा मनोहर मनोहरा:
kṛpāḥ karṇaphāḥ sadaiva śakunās tāta mṛgāś cātha tathā gajāḥ | vasanti tava saṁhṛṣṭā manohara manoharāḥ ||
பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—குழந்தையே, மனோகரமான வனமர அரசே! உன் கிளைகளில் எப்போதும் பல பறவைகள் தங்குகின்றன; கீழே எண்ணற்ற மான்களும் யானைகளும் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் வாழ்கின்றன. உன் இருப்பே உயிர்களுக்கு அடைக்கலமாகி, அமைதியில் அவர்களை ஒன்றுசேர்க்கிறது.
