इत्युक्तास्ते सुतं त्यक्त्वा भूमौ शोकपरिप्लुता: । दहामाना: सुतस्नेहात् प्रययुर्बान्धवा गृहम्,गीधके ऐसा कहनेपर वे शोकमें डूबे हुए भाई-बन्धु अपने उस पुत्रको धरतीपर सुलाकर उसके स्नेहसे दग्ध होते हुए अपने घरकी ओर लौटे
ity uktās te sutaṃ tyaktvā bhūmau śokapariplutāḥ | dahamānāḥ sutasnehāt prayayur bāndhavā gṛham ||
இவ்வாறு கூறப்பட்டதும், துயரால் மூழ்கிய அந்த உறவினர்கள் மகனை நிலத்தில் வைத்துவிட்டு, மகன் மீது கொண்ட பாசத்தால் எரிந்தவர்களாய், தம் இல்லத்திற்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றனர்।
