अध्याय १५२: लोभः पापस्य मूलम् — Greed as the Root of Wrongdoing

न हायज्ञा अमुं लोकं प्राप्रुवन्ति कथठ्चन । आपातान प्रतितिष्ठन्ति पुलिन्दशबरा इव,'जो क्षत्रिय अपने पापके कारण यज्ञके अधिकारसे वंचित हो जाते हैं, वे पुलिन्दों और शबरोंके समान नरकोंमें ही पड़े रहते हैं। किसी प्रकार परलोकमें उत्तम गतिको नहीं पाते

na hāyajñā amuṁ lokaṁ prāpruvanti kathaṁcana | āpātān pratitiṣṭhanti pulindaśabarā iva ||

யாகத்திற்கான உரிமையிலிருந்து வீழ்ந்தவர்கள் எவ்விதத்திலும் அந்தப் பரலோகத்தை அடையார். அவர்கள் புலிந்தர், ஷபரர் போலத் தாழ்நிலையிலேயே உறைந்து கிடப்பர்.
