Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
कश्चित् तरति काछ्ेन सुगम्भीरां महानदीम् । स तारयति तत् काष्ठं स च काछेन तार्यते
kaścit tarati kāṣṭhena sugambhīrāṃ mahānadīm | sa tārayati tat kāṣṭhaṃ sa ca kāṣṭhena tāryate ||
ஒருவன் ஒரு மரத்துண்டை ஆதாரமாகக் கொண்டு ஆழமும் பெருமையும் கொண்ட நதியைத் தாண்டுகிறான். அவன் அந்த மரத்துண்டையும் கரை சேர்க்கிறான்; அந்த மரத்துண்டே அவனைத் தாண்டச் செய்யும் சாதனமாகிறது.
