मयाप्युपायो दृष्टोडयं विचार्य मतिमात्मन: । आत्मार्थ च त्वदर्थ च श्रेयः साधारणं हि नौ
mayāpy upāyo dṛṣṭo ’yaṃ vicārya matim ātmanaḥ | ātmārthaṃ ca tvadarthaṃ ca śreyaḥ sādhāraṇaṃ hi nau ||
நானும் என் அறிவால் நன்றாகச் சிந்தித்து, எனக்கும் உனக்கும் பயன்படும் ஒரு வழியை கண்டேன். அதனால் நம் இருவருக்கும் சமமாக நன்மை உண்டாகும்; ஏனெனில் நம் நலன் பகிர்ந்ததே.
