न त्वन्यामिह मार्जाराद्‌ गतिं पश्यामि साम्प्रतम्‌ । विषमस्थो हायं शत्रु: कृत्यं चास्य महन्मया

Transliteration

na tv anyām iha mārjārād gatiṁ paśyāmi sāmpratam | viṣamastho hāyaṁ śatruḥ kṛtyaṁ cāsya mahan mayā ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—இப்பொழுது இந்தப் பூனையைச் சார்வதைத் தவிர எனக்கு வேறு வழி தெரியவில்லை. இது என் கடும் பகைவரே ஆயினும், இப்போது இதுவும் பெரும் சிக்கலில் அகப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; மேலும் என்னால் இதற்கும் ஒரு பெரிய உதவி நிகழ முடியும்.
