अपश्यदपरं घोरमात्मन: शत्रुमागतम् | शरप्रसूनसड्काशं महीविवरशायिनम्
apaśyad aparaṁ ghoraṁ ātmanaḥ śatrum āgatam | śaraprasūna-saṅkāśaṁ mahī-vivara-śāyinam ||
அப்போது அவன் அங்கே இன்னொரு கொடிய பகைவன் வருவதைக் கண்டான்—சரக் கம்பின் மலரைப் போன்ற மங்கலான பழுப்பு நிறமுடையவன்; மண்ணில் குழி செய்து அதற்குள் மறைந்து படுத்திருப்பவன்.
