Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
कृत्वा हि पूर्व मित्राणि यः पश्चान्नानुतिष्ठति । न स मित्राणि लभते कृच्छास्वापत्सु दुर्मति:
kṛtvā hi pūrva mitrāṇi yaḥ paścān nānutiṣṭhati | na sa mitrāṇi labhate kṛcchrāsv āpatsu durmatiḥ ||
முதலில் பல நண்பர்களைச் செய்து கொண்டு, பின்னர் அந்த நட்பில் நிலைத்திருக்காத மந்தபுத்தியுடையவன், கடுமையான பேரிடர்கள் வந்தபோது அந்த நண்பர்களையே பெறமாட்டான்; துன்பநேரத்தில் உதவியும் கிடையாது.
