आपद्धर्मे राज्ञः नीतिः — Bharadvāja’s Counsel on Crisis-Statecraft (Śānti Parva 138)
परीक्ष्यकारी युक्तश्न स सम्यगुपपादयेत् । देशकालावभिप्रेतो ताभ्यां फलमवाप्नुयात्
parīkṣyakārī yuktaśna sa samyag upapādayet | deśakālāv abhipreto tābhyāṃ phalam avāpnuyāt ||
ஆராய்ந்து செயல்படுவோனும், ஒழுக்கம் கொண்டவனும், எப்போதும் விழிப்புடன் இருப்பவனும் தன் முயற்சிகளை முறையாக நிறைவேற்றுவான். விரும்பிய இடமும் காலமும் கருத்தில் கொண்டு இரண்டையும் சரியாகப் பயன்படுத்தி, அவற்றின் துணையால் நாடிய பயனை அடைவான்.
