दीर्घदर्शी–दीर्घसूत्र–संप्रतिपत्तिमान् आख्यानम्

लोके च लभते पूजां परत्रेह महत्‌ फलम्‌

Transliteration

loke ca labhate pūjāṃ paratreha mahat phalam |

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—இத்தகைய நடத்தையுடையவன் இவ்வுலகில் போற்றப்படுவான்; மறுவுலகில் பெரும் பலனை அடைவான். பாவமற்றவனாகி விரைவில் பலரின் மதிப்பைப் பெறுவான்; பலவகை இன்பங்களை அனுபவிப்பான்; தன் சிறப்பான நற்கிரியைகளின் வலிமையால் பாதுகாக்கப்படுவான். இவ்வாறு இவ்வுலகிலும் மறுவுலகிலும் பெரும் பலனுக்குப் பங்காளியாக இருப்பான்.
