Kāpavya-carita (कापव्यचरित) — Reforming Dasyus through Regulated Rāja-Dharma
बहवो ग्रामवास्तव्या रोषाद् ब्रूयु: परस्परम् । न तेषां वचनाद् राजा सत्कुर्याद् घातयीत वा
bahavo grāmavāstavya roṣād brūyuḥ parasparam | na teṣāṁ vacanād rājā satkuryād ghātayīta vā ||
பல கிராமவாசிகள் கோபத்தால் அரசன் முன் ஒருவரையொருவர் குற்றம் சாட்டி, சிலரைப் புகழ்ந்து சிலரைப் பழித்து பேசினாலும், அரசன் அவர்களின் சொற்கள் மட்டுமே நம்பி யாரையும் தண்டிக்கவும் கூடாது; யாருக்கும் மரியாதை வழங்கவும் கூடாது; முறையான விசாரணை இன்றி மக்கள் சண்டையும் பாகுபாடான செய்திகளையும் தீர்ப்பின் அடிப்படையாக்கக் கூடாது।
