Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atra te vartayiṣyāmi yudhiṣṭhira nibodha tat | itihāsaṃ sumitrasya nirvṛttam ṛṣabhasya ca ||

Translation

பீஷ்மர் கூறினார்—யுதிஷ்டிரா, இங்கே நான் உனக்கு அரசன் சுமித்ரனும் ரிஷப முனிவரும் பற்றிய பழம்பெரும் நிகழ்வை எடுத்துரைக்கிறேன்; கவனமாகக் கேள்.
