अद्रोह: सर्वभूतेषु कर्मणा मनसा गिरा । अनुग्रहश्च दानं च शीलमेतत् प्रशस्यते
adrohaḥ sarvabhūteṣu karmaṇā manasā girā | anugrahaś ca dānaṃ ca śīlam etat praśasyate ||
செயலால், மனத்தால், சொல்லால் எந்த உயிரினத்திடமும் பகைமை கொள்ளாதிருத்தல்; அனைவரிடமும் அருள்/கருணை காட்டுதல்; மேலும் இயன்ற அளவு தானம் செய்தல்—இதுவே சீலம்; இதை எல்லோரும் புகழ்கிறார்கள்.
