त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma

इन्द्रो जागर्ति भगवानिन्द्रादग्निर्विभावसु: । अग्नेर्जागर्ति वरुणो वरुणाच्च प्रजापति:
indro jāgarti bhagavān indrād agnir vibhāvasuḥ | agner jāgarti varuṇo varuṇāc ca prajāpatiḥ ||
வசூஹரோமன் கூறினான்—பகவான் இந்திரன் தண்டவிதானத்தில் எப்போதும் விழிப்புடன் இருக்கிறான். இந்திரனிடமிருந்து ஒளிமிகு அக்னி; அக்னியிடமிருந்து வருணன்; வருணனிடமிருந்து பிரஜாபதி—இவ்வாறு வரிசையாக தண்ட அதிகாரத்தைப் பெற்று, அதைத் தக்க அளவில் பயன்படுத்த அனைவரும் இடையறாது விழித்திருக்கிறார்கள்।
