Nakula’s Counsel on Yajña, Dāna, and Tyāga (नकुलोपदेशः—यज्ञदानत्यागविचारः)
एतस्मिन् वर्तमानस्य विधावप्रतिषेधिते । ब्राह्मणस्य महाराज नोच्छित्तिविद्यते क्वचित्,महाराज! इस गृहस्थ-आश्रममें ही रहकर वेद-विहित कर्ममें लगे हुए ब्राह्मगका कभी उच्छेद (पतन) नहीं होता
etasmin vartamānasya vidhāv apratiṣedhite | brāhmaṇasya mahārāja nocchittir vidyate kvacit ||
மகாராஜா! இவ்வீட்டற வாழ்வில் இருந்து, வேதம் விதித்த—தடை செய்யப்படாத—நெறிப்படி நடக்கும் பிராமணனுக்கு எங்கும் அழிவோ வீழ்ச்சியோ இல்லை.
