मृगराजं हितैर्वाक्यै: सम्बोधयितुमागमत् | पुत्र नैतत् त्वया ग्राह्मूं कपटारम्भसंयुतम्
mṛgarājaṃ hitair vākyaiḥ sambodhayitum āgamat | putra naitat tvayā grāhyaṃ kapaṭārambhasaṃyutam |
அவள் மிருகராஜன் (சிங்கம்) அருகே சென்று நல்வார்த்தைகளால் அறிவுறுத்த வந்தாள்—“மகனே! இதை ஏற்காதே; இதன் தொடக்கமே வஞ்சகத்துடன் இணைந்தது, இதில் துரோகத் திட்டம் மறைந்துள்ளது.”
