शकुनि (हिरण्मय-पक्षी) उपदेशः — Vighasāśin and the Difficulty of Gārhasthya

आम्नायदृढवादीनि तथा सिद्धिरिहेष्यते । मासार्धभासा ऋतव आदित्यशशितारकम्‌

Transliteration

āmnāya-dṛḍha-vādīni tathā siddhir iha eṣyate | māsārdha-bhāsā ṛtava āditya-śaśi-tārakam ||

Translation

அர்ஜுனன் கூறினான்—ஆம்நாயம் (ஸ்ருதி மரபு) உறுதியாக நிறுவிய கர்மங்களாலேயே இவ்வுலகில் வேண்டிய வெற்றி கிடைக்கிறது. யாக ஒழுங்கு மாதங்கள், பக்ஷங்கள், ऋதுக்கள், மேலும் சூரியன்-சந்திரன்-நட்சத்திரங்களின் இயக்கங்களால் குறிக்கப்படுகிறது.
