उपायधर्म-सेनायोगः
Upāya-dharma and Senāyoga: Expedient Ethics & Army Deployment
तस्मात् तदा योजयेत परेषां व्यसने5थवा । एते हि योगा: सेनाया: प्रशस्ता: परबाधने
tasmāt tadā yojayet pareṣāṁ vyasane ’thavā | ete hi yogāḥ senāyāḥ praśastāḥ parabādhane ||
ஆகையால் அச்சமயத்திலேயே படையெடுப்பைத் தொடங்க வேண்டும்; அல்லது பகைவர் துன்பத்தில் அகப்பட்ட தருணத்தில்—அந்தச் சந்தர்ப்பத்திலேயே தாக்க வேண்டும். பகைவரைத் தடுத்து அலைக்கழிப்பதற்கான படையின் சிறந்த வாய்ப்புகள் இவையே எனப் போற்றப்படுகின்றன.
