जनकस्य युद्धोपदेशः — Janaka’s Instruction on Steadfast Battle-Conduct
हर्षयेयुविंषण्णांश्व व्यवस्थाप्य परस्परम् । जितां च भूमिं रक्षेत भग्नान् नात्यनुसारयेत्
harṣayeya viṣaṇṇānś ca vyavasthāpya parasparam | jitāṃ ca bhūmiṃ rakṣeta bhagnān nātyanusarayet ||
தன் படை மனச்சோர்வடைந்தாலோ தளர்ந்தாலோ, அவர்களை முறையான வ்யூகத்தில் மீண்டும் அமைத்து ஒருவருக்கொருவர் துணையாக நிறுத்தி, அவர்களின் மகிழ்ச்சியும் போர்முனைப்பும் உயர்த்த வேண்டும். வென்ற நிலத்தைப் பாதுகாக்க வேண்டும்; ஆனால் தோற்று ஓடும் பகைவரை மிகத் தூரம் வரைத் துரத்தக் கூடாது.
