आजानेयैस्तथा यात॑ को नु स्वन्ततरो मया । “बड़े-बड़े राजाओंपर हुक्म चलाया, अत्यन्त दुर्लभ सम्मान प्राप्त किया तथा आजानेय (अरबी) घोड़ोंपर सवारी की, मुझसे अच्छा अन्त और किसका हुआ होगा?
ājāneyais tathā yātaḥ ko nu svantataro mayā |
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்— “பெரும் அரசர்கள்மேல் ஆணை செலுத்தி, அரிதாகக் கிடைக்கும் மரியாதையைப் பெற்றேன்; ஆஜானேய குதிரைகளில் ஏறிச் சென்றேன்—எனக்குப் பதிலாக இன்னும் சிறந்த முடிவை யார் பெற்றிருப்பார்?”
