हेतुकारणसंयुक्तैर्वाक्यै: कालसमीरितै: । क्षिप्रमेव महाबाहो गान्धारीं शमयिष्यसि
hetukāraṇasaṁyuktair vākyaiḥ kālasamīritaiḥ | kṣipram eva mahābāho gāndhārīṁ śamayīṣyasi ||
மகாபாஹோ, காரணமும் யுக்தியும் இணைந்த, காலத்திற்கேற்ற சொற்களால் நீ விரைவில் காந்தாரியை அமைதிப்படுத்துவாய்.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Grief and anger are best addressed through timely, reasoned speech grounded in clear causes—counsel that respects both emotion and dharma.
The narrator Vaiśampāyana predicts that the addressed hero (“mahābāho”) will soon calm Gāndhārī by speaking to her with appropriate, well-reasoned words in the tense aftermath of the war.
