आराध्य त्र्यम्बक॑ यत्नाद व्रतैरुग्रैमहातपा: । अयोनिजायामुत्पन्नो द्रोणेनायोनिजेन यः
ārādhya tryambakaṃ yatnād vratair ugrair mahātapāḥ | ayonijāyām utpanno droṇenāyonijena yaḥ ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—கடுமையான விரதங்களாலும் தீவிரத் தவங்களாலும் த்ர்யம்பகன் (சிவன்) ஐ முயன்று வழிபட்டு, அந்த மகாதபஸ்வி தோன்றினான்—அயோனிஜையாகப் பிறந்தவன்; மேலும் த்ரோணனும் அயோனிஜனாக இருந்து அவனைப் பிறப்பித்தான்.
