The Fall of Duryodhana and the Contest of Restraint
अवस्थाने मतिं कृत्वा पुत्रस्तव महामना: । इयेषोत्पतितुं राजन् छलयिष्यन् वृकोदरम्
avasthāne matiṁ kṛtvā putras tava mahāmanāḥ | iyeṣotpatituṁ rājan chalayīṣyan vṛkodaram ||
அரசே! உன் உயர்ந்த மனம் கொண்ட மகன் முதலில் அங்கே உறுதியாக நிலைத்து நிற்கத் தீர்மானித்தான்; பின்னர் வ்ருகோதரன் (பீமன்) ஐ ஏமாற்ற எண்ணி துள்ளி விலக விரும்பினான்।
