आधुन्वन्तो गदे घोरे चन्दनागरुरूषिते । वैरस्यान्तं परीप्सन्तौ रणे क्रुद्धाविवान्तकौ
ādhunvantau gade ghore candanāgarurūṣite | vairasyāntaṃ parīpsantau raṇe kruddhāv ivāntakau ||
பகையை முடிவுக்கு கொண்டு வர எண்ணிய அந்த இரு வீரரும், சந்தனம் மற்றும் அகில் பூசப்பட்ட பயங்கர கதைகளை போர்க்களத்தில் சுழற்றிக் கொண்டிருந்தனர்; கோபித்த மரணதேவனைப் போலவே தோன்றினர்.
