The Fall of Duryodhana and the Contest of Restraint

पुनरावर्तमानानां भग्नानां जीवितैषिणाम्‌ । भेतव्यमरिशेषाणामेकायनगता हिते

punarāvartamānānāṁ bhagnānāṁ jīvitaiṣiṇām | bhetavyam ariśeṣāṇām ekāyanagatā hi te ||

வாயு கூறினார்: “சிதறி உயிர் காக்க ஓடியவர்கள் மீண்டும் திரும்பி போருக்கு வரத் தொடங்கினால், அத்தகைய மீதமுள்ள பகைவர்களை எச்சரிக்கையுடன் கவனிக்க வேண்டும்; ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் ஒரே வழியில் உறுதியான தீர்மானத்துக்கு வந்து விடுவர்—அப்போது மரணத்திற்கும் அஞ்சார்.”
