विनिष्पतद्धिः शरभै: सिंहैश्न सहसा द्रुतैः । शोच्यामपि दशां प्राप्तो रराजेव स पर्वत:
viniṣpataddhiḥ śarabhaiḥ siṃhaiś ca sahasā drutaiḥ | śocyām api daśāṃ prāpto rarāj eva sa parvataḥ ||
வேகமாகத் திடீரெனப் பாய்ந்து தாக்கிய சரபங்களும் சிங்கங்களும் கிழித்தெறிந்தபோதும், இரங்கத்தக்க நிலையடைந்திருந்தாலும், அந்த மலை கடுமையான, குறையாத ஒளியுடன் இன்னும் பிரகாசித்தது போலத் தோன்றியது।
