श्वेताक्षा लोहितग्रीवा: पिड़ाक्षाश्ष॒ तथा परे । कल्माषा बहवो राजंश्षित्रवर्णाक्ष भारत
śvetākṣā lohitagrīvāḥ piḍākṣāś ca tathā pare | kalmāṣā bahavo rājan śitravarṇākṣa bhārata ||
வைசம்பாயனர் கூறினார்— சிலருக்கு வெண்கண்கள், செந்நிறக் கழுத்து; மற்ற சிலருக்கு பிங்கல (மஞ்சள்-பழுப்பு) நிறக் கண்கள். பாரத குலத்து அரசே, பலர் சிதறிய புள்ளிகளுடன், பலவண்ணத் தோற்றத்துடன், பலவண்ணக் கண்களுடன் இருந்தனர்.
