Trita in the Well (Udapāna-kathā) — Balarāma’s Tīrtha Observances
तासां तदू् वचन श्रुत्वा दक्ष: सोममथाब्रवीत् । सम॑ वर्तस्व भार्यासु मा त्वां शप्स्ये विरोचन
tāsāṁ tad vacanaṁ śrutvā dakṣaḥ somam athābravīt | samaṁ vartasva bhāryāsu mā tvāṁ śapsye virocanā ||
அவர்களின் சொற்களை கேட்ட தக்ஷன் மீண்டும் சோமனை நோக்கி கூறினார்— “ஒளிமிகு சந்திரதேவா! உன் மனைவியர் அனைவரிடமும் சமமாக நடந்து கொள்; இல்லையெனில் உன்னை நான் சபிப்பேன், விரோசனா!”
