तत् त्वमादाय युध्यस्व प्रेक्षकास्ते वयं स्थिता: । तुम रणभूमिमें अकेले ही एक-एकके साथ भिड़कर हम सब लोगोंसे युद्ध करना चाहते हो तो ऐसा ही सही। जो हथियार तुम्हें पसंद हो
tat tvam ādāya yudhyasva prekṣakās te vayaṁ sthitāḥ |
யுதிஷ்டிரன் கூறினான்—“அப்படியானால் உனக்குப் பிடித்த ஆயுதத்தை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு போரிடு; நாங்கள் இங்கே பார்வையாளர்களாக நிற்போம். நீ போர்க்களத்தில் எங்களை அனைவரையும்—ஒவ்வொருவராக—எதிர்த்து போரிட விரும்பினால், அப்படியே ஆகட்டும். உனக்கு விருப்பமான ஆயுதத்தை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு, எங்களில் ஒருவரொருவராகப் போரிடு; நாங்கள் சாட்சிகளாய் இங்கே நிலைத்திருப்போம்.”
