गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel
त्वं चाश्वसिहि कौन्तेय ये चाप्यनुगतास्तव । अहमुत्थाय व: सर्वान् प्रतियोत्स्यामि संयुगे
tvaṃ cāśvasihi kaunteya ye cāpy anugatās tava | aham utthāya vaḥ sarvān pratiyotsyāmi saṃyuge ||
துரியோதனன் கூறினான்—ஹே கௌந்தேயா! நீயும் சிறிது நேரம் ஓய்வு கொள்; உன்னைத் தொடர்ந்து வந்தவர்களும் மூச்சைத் திரட்டட்டும். பின்னர் நான் எழுந்து போர்க்களத்தில் உங்களெல்லாருடனும் போர் புரிவேன்.
