गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel
एष ते परमो धर्म: सृष्टो धात्रा महात्मना | तं॑ कुरुष्व यथातथ्यं राजा भव महारथ
eṣa te paramo dharmaḥ sṛṣṭo dhātrā mahātmanā | taṁ kuruṣva yathātathyaṁ rājā bhava mahāratha ||
மகாத்மையான விதாதா உனக்காக இதையே உன்னத தர்மமாக அமைத்தான். அதை உண்மையான ஆவியோடு கடைப்பிடி. ஓ மகாரதனே! உண்மையில் அரசனாக இரு—அரசர்க்குரிய வீரத்தையும் நடத்தையையும் வெளிப்படுத்து.
