Dvaipāyana-hrade Duryodhanasya Māyā — Yudhiṣṭhirasya Dharmoktiḥ (Śalya-parva, Adhyāya 30)
स नो दास्यति सुप्रीतो धनानि बहुलान्युत । कि नो मांसेन शुष्केण परिक्लिप्टेन शोषिणा
sa no dāsyati suprīto dhanāni bahulāny uta | ki no māṁsena śuṣkeṇa parikl̥iptena śoṣiṇā ||
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—“அவன் நம்மீது மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சி கொண்டு நமக்கு பெருந்தொகை செல்வம் தருவான். அப்படியிருக்க, உடலின் சாறை உலரச் செய்யும் இந்த உலர்ந்த, துண்டிக்கப்பட்ட இறைச்சியைச் சுமந்து வீணாகத் துன்பப்பட வேண்டியது ஏன்?”
