अध्याय ३: कृपस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः
Kṛpa’s Counsel to Duryodhana
भीममभ्यद्रवन् संख्ये पतजड़ा इव पावकम् । उस समय अपने प्राणों और बन्धु-बान्धवोंका मोह छोड़कर रोष और आवेशमें भरे हुए पैदल सैनिक युद्धस्थलमें भीमसेनकी ओर उसी प्रकार दौड़े
bhīmam abhyadravan saṅkhye pataṅgā iva pāvakam |
சஞ்சயன் கூறினான்—அப்போது கோபமும் வெறியும் நிறைந்த அந்த காலாட்கள், உயிர்மீதும் உறவினர்மீதும் இருந்த பாசத்தைத் துறந்து, போர்க்களத்தில் பீமசேனனை நோக்கி, தீயில் பாயும் பட்டாம்பூச்சிகளைப் போல பாய்ந்தனர்.
