Śalya-hatānantarāṇi: Madrarāja-padānugānāṃ praskandana and the Pandava counter-encirclement (शल्यहतानन्तराणि—मद्रराजपदानुगानां प्रस्कन्दनम्)
तत् कर्म भीमस्य समीक्ष्य हृष्टा- स््ते पाण्डवानां प्रवरा रथौघा: । नादं च चक्रुर्भुशमुत्स्मयन्तः शड्खांश्व दध्मु: शशिसंनिकाशान्
tat karma bhīmasya samīkṣya hṛṣṭās te pāṇḍavānāṁ pravarā rathaughāḥ | nādaṁ ca cakrur bhuśam utsmayantaḥ śaṅkhāṁś ca dadhmuḥ śaśi-sannikāśān ||
பீமனின் அந்தச் செயலைக் கண்ட பாண்டவர்களின் தலைசிறந்த ரதவீரர்கள் பேருவகை கொண்டனர். அவர்கள் அகன்ற புன்னகையுடன் பெருநாதம் எழுப்பி, நிலவுபோல் ஒளிரும் சங்குகளை ஊதினர்.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how righteous courage and decisive action in a just cause can uplift companions: communal resolve is strengthened through visible valor, expressed here by the roar and conch-blowing that renews confidence in the midst of war.
After witnessing an impressive act performed by Bhīma, the leading Pāṇḍava chariot-fighters become delighted; they smile, shout loudly, and blow their bright conches as a triumphant, rallying response on the battlefield.
