अथान्यं रथमास्थाय सात्यकि: सत्यविक्रम: । पीडितान् पाण्डवान् दृष्टवा मद्रराजवशंगतान्
athānyaṃ ratham āsthāya sātyakiḥ satyavikramaḥ | pīḍitān pāṇḍavān dṛṣṭvā madrarājavaśaṃgatān ||
அப்போது உண்மை வீரத்தைக் கொண்ட சாத்யகி மற்றொரு ரதத்தில் ஏறினான்; மத்ரராஜனின் ஆட்சிக்குள் சிக்கி பாண்டவர்கள் நெருக்கடியில் இருப்பதைப் பார்த்து அவன் முன்னேறினான்.
