चिकीर्षन् कर्म शत्रुभ्यो बाहुद्रव्यानुरूपत: । इसीलिये वे अपनी विशाल भुजाओंकी ओर देखते हुए यात्रा करते हैं। राजन्! अपने बाहुबलरूपी वैभवपर उन्हें गर्व है। अतः वे अपनी दोनों भुजाएँ दिखाते हुए शत्रुओंसे बदला लेनेके लिये अपने बाहुबलके अनुरूप ही पराक्रम करना चाहते हैं
cikīrṣan karma śatrubhyo bāhudravyānurūpataḥ |
“எதிரிகளை எதிர்த்து செயல் புரிய எண்ணி, தங்கள் புயவலத்தின் செல்வத்திற்கு ஏற்றபடியே அவர்கள் முன்னேறுகின்றனர். அதனால் தங்கள் வலிமைமிக்க புயங்களை நோக்கிக்கொண்டே அவர்கள் பயணிக்கின்றனர். அரசே! புயவலமே அவர்களின் வைபவம்; அதில் அவர்களுக்கு பெருமிதம். ஆகவே இரு புயங்களையும் வெளிப்படுத்தி, எதிரிகளிடம் பழிவாங்கத் தம் வலிமைக்கு ஏற்ற வீரச் செயல்களைச் செய்ய அவர்கள் விரும்புகின்றனர்.”
