चतुरश्चः सदश्चोर्मि: कार्तवीर्यश्व पार्थिव: । भरत: सुरथश्वैव सुनीथो निशठो नलः
caturaś caḥ sadaś cormiḥ kārtavīryaś ca pārthivaḥ | bharataḥ surathaś caiva sunītho niṣaṭho nalaḥ
நாரதர் கூறினார்—சதுரன், சதன், ஊர்மி, அரசனான கார்த்தவீர்யன்; மேலும் பரதன், சுரதன், சுநீதன், நிஷடன், நலன்—இவர்களும் பழங்காலப் புகழ்பெற்ற அரசர்கள்.
