द्रौपहुुवाच गच्छ त्वं कितवं गत्वा सभायां पृच्छ सूतज । कि नु पूर्व पराजैषीरात्मानमथवा नु माम्‌,द्रौोपदीने कहा--सूतपुत्र! तुम सभामें उन जुआरी महाराजके पास जाओ और जाकर यह पूछो कि “आप पहले अपनेको हारे थे या मुझे?”

drauapady uvāca gaccha tvaṁ kitavaṁ gatvā sabhāyāṁ pṛccha sūtaja | ki nu pūrvaṁ parājaiṣīr ātmānam athavā nu mām ||

த்ரௌபதி கூறினாள்—“ஓ சூதபுத்ரா! அந்த சூதாட்டக்காரனிடம் செல்; சபைக்குள் சென்று அவனை இவ்வாறு கேள்—‘நீ முதலில் உன்னை இழந்தாயா, அல்லது என்னையா?’”
