अध्याय ६४ — सभामध्ये क्रोध-निवारणम्
Restraint of wrath in the royal assembly
यस्तु धर्मपरश्न स्याद्धित्वा भर्तुः प्रियाप्रिये | अप्रियाण्याह पथ्यानि तेन राजा सहायवान्
yastu dharmaparaśnaḥ syād hitvā bhartuḥ priyāpriye | apriyāṇy āha pathyāni tena rājā sahāyavān ||
தர்மத்தில் உறுதியாக இருந்து, தன் அரசனுக்கு அது பிடிக்குமா பிடிக்காதா என்ற எண்ணத்தை விட்டு, இனிமையில்லாததாக இருந்தாலும் நலமான (பத்தியமான) சொற்களைச் சொல்வோனே அரசனின் உண்மையான துணை; அத்தகைய ஆலோசகரால் அரசன் உண்மையில் ஆதரிக்கப்படுகிறான்.
