कच्चिच्छूरा: कृतप्रज्ञा: पजच पज्च स्वनुछिता: । क्षेमं कुर्वन्ति संहत्य राजज्जनपदे तव,राजन! क्‍या तुम्हारे जनपदके प्रत्येक गाँवमें शूरवीर, बुद्धिमान्‌ू और कार्यकुशल पाँच-पाँच पंच मिलकर सुचारुरूपसे जनहितके कार्य करते हुए सबका कल्याण करते हैं?

kaccic chūrāḥ kṛtaprajñāḥ pañca pañca svanuṣṭhitāḥ | kṣemaṃ kurvanti saṃhatya rājajjanapade tava, rājan ||

அரசே! உன் நாட்டின் ஒவ்வொரு கிராமத்திலும் ஐவர் ஐவராக வீரமும் நிலைத்த அறிவும் செயல் திறனும் உடைய பஞ்சர்கள் ஒன்றுகூடி, பொதுநலப் பணிகளைச் செய்து அனைவரின் பாதுகாப்பும் நலனும் உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறார்களா?
