Rājasūyābhiṣeka-darśana: Duryodhana’s Observation of the Consecration
स हि धर्म पुरस्कृत्य दीर्घदर्शी परं हितम् । उभयो: पक्षयोरयुक्तिं वक्ष्यत्यर्थविनिश्वयम्,विदुर दूरदर्शी हैं, वे धर्मको सामने रखकर दोनों पक्षोंके लिये उचित और परम हितकी बात सोचकर उसके अनुकूल ही कार्यका निश्चय बतायेंगे
sa hi dharma-puraskṛtya dīrgha-darśī paraṁ hitam | ubhayoḥ pakṣayor ayuktiṁ vakṣyaty artha-viniścayam ||
அவன் தர்மத்தை முன்னிறுத்தி, தொலைநோக்குடன் பரம நலனை எண்ணி, இரு தரப்பிற்கும் ஏற்ற நியாயமான வழியைச் சொல்லி காரியத் தீர்மானத்தை அறிவிப்பான்.
