पाण्डवश्रीप्रतप्तस्य ध्यायमानस्य गच्छत: । दुर्योधनस्थ नृपते: पापा मतिरजायत,पाण्डवोंकी राजलक्ष्मीसे संतप्त हो उसीका चिन्तन करते हुए जानेवाले राजा दुर्योधनके मनमें पापपूर्ण विचारका उदय हुआ
pāṇḍavaśrīprataptasya dhyāyamānasya gacchataḥ | duryodhanasya nṛpateḥ pāpā matir ajāyata ||
பாண்டவர்களின் அரசுச் செல்வச் சிறப்பால் உள்ளம் எரிந்து, அதையே நினைத்துக்கொண்டே சென்ற அரசன் துரியோதனன் மனத்தில் பாவமிகு எண்ணம் எழுந்தது.
