Adhyāya 31: Rājasūya-samāgama — The Gathering of Kings and the Ordering of Hospitality
एवमनिनिवररं प्रादात् स्त्रीणामप्रतिवारणे । वरिण्यस्तत्र नार्यो हि यथेष्टं विचरन्त्युत
evam anivāraṇaṁ prādāt strīṇām aprativāraṇe | variṇyas tatra nāryo hi yatheṣṭaṁ vicaranty uta ||
இவ்வாறு (அக்னி) பெண்களுக்கு தடையற்ற வரத்தை அளித்தான்; அவர்களை யாரும் தடுக்க இயலாது. ஆகவே அங்குள்ள பெண்கள் தம் விருப்பம்போல் நடமாடி, தாமே வரனைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தனர்.
