तेन शब्देन सम्भ्रान्त: सहसान्तःपुरे जनः । निर्जगाम नरव्याप्र राज्ञा सह परंतप,परंतप नरव्याप्र! बालकके उस रोने-चिल्लानेके शब्दसे रनिवासकी सब स्त्रियाँ घबरा उठीं तथा राजाके साथ सहसा बाहर निकलीं

Transliteration

tena śabdena sambhrāntaḥ sahasāntaḥpure janaḥ | nirjagāma naravyāghra rājñā saha parantapa ||

Translation

அந்தக் குழந்தையின் அழுகை-கூச்சல் ஒலியால் அந்தப்புரத்திலிருந்தோர்—முக்கியமாக அரசவீட்டுப் பெண்கள்—அதிர்ச்சியடைந்து கலங்கினர்; ஓ நரவ்யாக்ரா, ஓ பரந்தபா! அவர்கள் அரசனுடன் உடனே வெளியே வந்தனர்.
