The Commencement of the Great Departure
अनमनिं ते ददृशुस्तत्र स्थितं शैलमिवाग्रत: । मार्गमावृत्य तिष्ठन्तं साक्षात्पुरुषविग्रहम्
anamanīṁ te dadṛśus tatra sthitaṁ śailam ivāgrataḥ | mārgam āvṛtya tiṣṭhantaṁ sākṣāt puruṣa-vigraham ||
அப்போது அவர்கள் அங்கே முன்புறம் மலைபோல் அசையாது நின்று, வழியை மறித்து நிற்கும், மனித வடிவில் வெளிப்பட்ட ஒரு அச்சமூட்டும் தெய்வத் தெய்வீகத் தோற்றத்தைக் கண்டனர்।
